THE LONG LIST
We only list individuals who are no longer with us in chronological order of their birthyear who are: Born in Europe between 1955 CE and 1955 BCE whose lives, ideas and achievements touched the lives of many. Excluding any predominantly royalty, governmental, clerical, political or military leaders, athletes, or mythical figures
THE SHORT LIST
Following thorough editorial, methodical and academic validation of the Long list we establish a Short List of +100 nominees before the start of the online Jam event.
THE FINAL LIST
During a 72-hour online Jam event all visitors, leaders and experts can discuss, debate with and among each other and ultimately vote on the 100 Greatest Europeans Of All Time.
